PEP Kitchen hits the sweet spot with new vegan cookie offering

PEP Kitchen, the London-based vegan ready meal business launched for delivery in 2020, has added a sweet new option to their range with the creation of their bake at home vegan chocolate chip cookies.

Available in a pack of six for £5, the new bake-at-home chocolate chip cookies offer a little something naughty while retaining the brands vegan and sustainable ethos.

Made in London and available for home delivery, these bake-at-home vegan cookies will sit alongside PEPs other existing main course range with dishes for one or two that are inspired by street food cookery from around the world. PEP Kitchen has also carefully created meal kits and bundles designed around nutritional benefits.

Towards a one-stop-shop for vegan consumers

The new cookie product is another step closer towards the aims of chef founders, Ben MacAndrews and Joe Coulter, to create a one-stop-shop for delicious vegan food that utilises the benefits of frozen convenience.

PEP Kitchen was founded with the aim of building a sustainable food business that is good for people’s health and the environment. Encouraging people to get excited by plant-based cooking, making it both easy and accessible to transition into a more vegan diet.

While PEP Kitchen is a fully vegan food business, the firm strives to stand up alongside non-vegan ready meals on the market when it comes to flavour and enjoyment. The founders, both with eight years of professional cooking behind them, have used their experience as restaurant chefs to ensure there is no compromise on a great tasting product and these cookies are no exception.

A little bit of after-dinner indulgence

Commenting on the new launch, co-founder Joe Coulter said that PEP Kitchen’s cookies are “hitting the sweet spot”.

“We wanted to cater for those after-dinner cravings with something delicious for our customers – and what could be better than a gooey warm chocolate cookie, straight from the oven?” he reasoned.

“These might not be for every day, and are a little bit of indulgence, but demonstrate yet again that, when made correctly, vegan or frozen food doesn’t have to be a compromise in any way,” he continued, adding: “We challenge anyone who can honestly say they don’t love these cookies!”
