Gourmet burger restaurant chain Byron has unveiled its latest creation for the great British public, in honour of the Queen’s Jubilee. For the months of June and July, burger aficionados can indulge in Byron’s Bites of British range – including the ‘Elizabeefan Burger’ and ‘Eton Mess Shake’.

The indulgent ‘Elizabeefan Burger’ offers a bite of all the best British flavours and ingredients…one that Byron is confident the Queen would give her seal of approval to. Indeed, it is  well documented that Her Majesty is quite partial to a burger, although without the bun, so for those looking to channel the Queen’s tastes, Byron suggests to opt for the bunless version!

The Elizabeefan

The Elizabeefan burger comprises an Aberdeen Angus 6oz beef patty, topped with slow-cooked roast beef brisket, Red Leicester cheese, watercress, pickled red onions, and finished with a kick – quintessentially British horseradish mayonnaise.

Eton Mess Shake

 

For the sweet-toothed, finish off the meal with a limited edition indulgent creamy Eton Mess Shake – the nation’s favourite dessert in a shake! A fruity combination of vanilla ice cream, strawberry coulis, topped with a meringue nest, whipped cream and fresh strawberries, you need to crack through the crispy meringue shell of the Eton Mess shake to get to the fruity delights within.

Brand new sides

Launching in mid-June 2022, Byron’s brand new sides include Mac & Cheese loaded with pulled beef, crunchy onion rings with Sriracha sauce drizzle, smoky BBQ chicken strips, spicy chicken wings and stir-fried maple and mustard greens, amongst many more options.
