Burger chain Byron is putting the jingle in its buns, the party in its patties and the magic into its milkshakes this Christmas. Available now until Christmas, Byron fans can indulge in boozy burgers and merry milkshakes, courtesy of the firm’s tie-ups with Guinness and Baileys.

   

Byron has teamed up with Guinness to create a one-of-its-kind Byron X Guinness Jingle Buns Burger. This 6oz patty, consisting of a blend of four 100-per-cent prime Aberdeen Angus cuts – flank, chuck, brisket and short rib – is then topped with a Guinness paste, deep fried onion ring, bacon, crisp lettuce, blue cheese, and a sweet and tangy Christmas caramelised onion chutney, all encased in a glazed brioche bun.

Customers can pair this festive feast with Byron’s limited-edition Baileys Mint Hardshake – “served with a shot of Baileys on the side, blended with Oreos and mint syrup, makes this one of the UK’s most shamelessly indulgent combos, to truly get into the Christmas spirit,” the firm said in a statement. 

Moreover, Byron fans who get served their burger with a special edition gold bun will win a free burger on their next visit. The firm said there are hundreds of golden buns up for grabs nationwide.

And it being nearly Christmas, it would be remiss to not order at least one of Byron’s famous sides to accompany your boozy burger and merry shake – tangy slaw, deep fried onion rings, gooey mac and cheese, or crisp halloumi fries.
