Delicatessen, gourmet and basic foodstuffs – Anuga Fine Food to unite diversified offer from across world

ANUGA Fine Food – the largest of the 10 trade shows that together comprise world-leading F&B show ANUGA this year – is betting on trends such as gourmet foods, super-foods and halal, when the event returns to Cologne in October.

When it comes down to the quality products, as the most important platform for the manufacturers of delicatessen, Anuga Fine Food has made a name for itself internationally as a central point of contact for the manufacturers and importers of delicatessen and their customers from the food trade and food service sector.

Highly international alignment

The largest of the Anuga trade shows unites a comprehensive and diversified offer from all over the globe. Numerous nations take part here through joint pavilions, which present the typical food and regional specialities of their home country.

In total, 420 exhibitors from 59 countries will present a wide variety of products and innovations at Anuga – across Halls 1, 2.1, 3.1, 10.2 and 11 – this year. The most important exhibitors include Develey, Feinkost Dittmann, Nestle Italiana, Newlat, Saclá, Seeberger, Seitenbacher and the VOG AG.

In spite of the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, Anuga Fine Food also boasts a highly international alignment in 2021. Countries represented at the show include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Dubai, France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Thailand, Tunisia and the USA, amongst others.

Promoting taste, quality, uniqueness and sustainability

Cross-cutting issues such as halal, super-foods or gourmet foods will also be covered by Anuga Fine Food. For example, the ‘Anuga Halal Market’ returns on-site once again at Anuga 2021. It offers a wide spectrum of halal-certified products for the food trade, which spans all trade shows.

The current food trend towards gourmet food and speciality foods, which excels above all with its quality and transparency, is reflected at the largest trade show of Anuga. Many manufacturers are correspondingly pushing the transparency of their ingredients.

In addition to the taste and quality of the products, this aims to also highlight the efforts regarding their uniqueness and sustainability, as well as locally or regionally produced food and beverages.

Anuga – the leading trade fair for the global food industry – returns to Cologne, Germany, from 9–13 October 2021. For more information on the Anuga Fine Foods tradeshow, visit: https://www.anuga.com/trade-fair/10-trade-shows/anuga-fine-food/
