Fried chicken brand Mother Clucker is all set to spread its wings, fly the nest and land in over 18 towns and cities. The brand will be available to its thousands of fans – via Deliveroo – from this month.

Started in 2013 and initially launched at London's Old Truman Brewery, Mother Clucker is today part of Famously Proper. Also owner of popular gourmet burger chain Byron, Famously Proper has “very ambitious expansion plans for Mother Clucker”, according to its CEO, Gavin Cox. 

A nationwide roll-out of the deliciously crispy, tea-brined, fried chicken brand has been long awaited, and this month Mother Clucker’s legions of fans will be rejoicing as its mouth-watering menu becomes available via Deliveroo in over 18 towns and cities across the country.

One of the UK’s biggest one-day brand roll-outs

‘The rollout is expected to be one of the UK’s largest expansions of a brand, to happen in the space of a day – and the team at Mother Clucker are excited to get flippin' and dippin' their tea-brined, buttermilk-soaked, twice-battered, fried chicken,’ the firm said in a statement. ‘Whether you prefer strips or burgers, drenched in lime mayo or MC Pepper Sauce and accompanied by Cajun Fries or Tater Tots …they have just the cluckin’ treat for you!’

Speaking on the expansion, Famously Proper’s CEO Gavin Cox remarked: “We are extremely excited to be taking this cult favourite, street food chicken brand from one location, in London’s Truman's Brewery, to over 18 nationwide destinations,” he enthused, adding that his firm had “very ambitious expansion plans” for Mother Clucker. “This will be one of the biggest roll-outs of a brand within one day and we look forward to expanding rapidly, in the coming months!” he added.
