Free recipe and meal kit app Plate Up has announced a new partnership with celebrity chef Nisha Katona MBE, with a view to showcasing on the app many of Nisha’s own recipes from her latest best-selling book ‘30 Minute Mowgli: Fast Easy Indian from the Mowgli Home Kitchen’.

As a curry evangelist, Nisha has always been interested in the anthropology of food. Not only has she released many cookbooks like ‘30 Minute Mowgli’ and ‘Mowgli Street Food’ – published by Nourish Books; she is also a fantastic TV presenter, working on shows such as Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, ITV’s Lorraine and This Morning, and many more. Her Mowgli Street Food restaurants specialise in Indian home cooking, in a shift away from the traditional British curry house.
