From 13–17 February, when leading international F&B expo Gulfood 2022 returns to Dubai, over 60 Russian companies will present their products with the support of the Russian Export Center (part of VEB.RF). Already highly praised in the markets of Gulf countries, these Russian manufacturers’ popular products include pastry, dairy and meat products, beverages, caviar, and other products from well-known producers.

Gulfood 2022 will be attended by Russia’s leading meat producers, including the Cherkizovo Group, the Resource Group of Companies, and Damate Group, which produce Halal-certified meat that meets modern safety and quality standards. Major dairy producers – including Molvest, Eko-Niva, and Kosmos Group, alongside the leading producer of modern innovative nutrition, meat products and plant-based ice cream Efko – will also participate in the upcoming major food expo.

One of the largest Russian exporters of ice cream, Iceberry company, will present its products at Gulfood. Producing more than 100,000 tons of products across three factories, Iceberry is well known in Russia and worldwide under the brands ‘Filyovskoye’, ‘Vologodsky Plombir’, ‘Zhemchuzhina Rossii’, ‘Ded Moroz’ and others. The list of exhibition participants is also set to include Akkond, Pobeda, and Nevsky Konditer confectioneries, as well as United Confectioners – the largest confectionery company in Eastern Europe, with a 200-year history, and known worldwide for its ‘Alionka’ chocolate.

At Gulfood 2022, REC’s national delegation will organise product presentations, as well as business meetings with the heads of trading companies, retailers, distributors, and regional government officials. Participants will discuss current consumer trends and opportunities for quality product promotion in the flourishing markets of the Middle East region.
