Recyclable Favourites tub leads range of new Valeo Snackfoods SKUs
Barratt, the Valeo Snackfoods confectionery brand behind sweets like Dip Dabs and Wham, has launched a new recyclable variety tub called Barratt Favourites.
The innovative new sharing tub – believed to be a market-first format – is made from 85-per-cent less plastic than previous Barratt tubs and is suitable for household recycling. This includes its translucent plastic lid, which itself has been manufactured using 30 per cent recycled plastic.
Inside, the individually wrapped sweet selection comprise a mix of all the Barratt favourites, including Dip Dabs, Wham, Fruit Salad & Black Jack chews, Highland Toffee, Refreshers rolls, Shrimps & Bananas and Fruit Salad lollies.
The 500g sharing tubs launched in major retailers including Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and B&M in time for Halloween, with an MRRP of £3.50.
Barratt Favourites aren’t the only recent launch for Valeo Snackfoods, which also released new Poppets Movie Mix, a mix of four flavours in a 180g sharing pouch, and Just Brazils in a new 150g pouch.
Poppets Movie Mix features original Toffee Poppets, chocolate-coated toffee popcorn, chocolate covered malt balls and chocolate balls. They are currently available at an MRRP of £2 in Home Bargains and B&M.
Just Brazils new pouch format is available in B&M and Poundland at an MRRP of £1.99.
“It’s really exciting to be able to announce new SKUs across our Barratt, Poppets and Just Brazils brands as we gear up for one of the most important periods of the year for confectionery,” remarked Russell Tanner, Marketing Director at Valeo Snackfoods. “We’re committed to continually innovating across our brands and are delighted to be able to bring these new SKUs to market as we head into the key autumn and winter seasons.”
