THE SKINNY FOOD CO launches healthy food range in 300 ASDA stores UK-wide
Healthy food and drink brand The Skinny Food Co® continues to expand its in-store presence across the UK, having secured another major listing – with leading grocery retailer, Asda.
Popular products from The Skinny Food Cob’s low-sugar, low-calorie range are now available across 300 Asda stores UK-wide, offering shoppers an opportunity to try a variety of vegan-friendly, healthy alternatives to the nation’s favourite sauces and syrups, without the added calories or sugar.
Products include the Tomato Ketchup Virtually Zero© Calorie Skinny Sauce, the Smokey BBQ Virtually Zero© Calorie Skinny Sauce, the Sweet Chilli Virtually Zero© Calorie Skinny Sauce, the Golden Syrup Zero Calorie Sugar-Free Skinny Syrup, the French Vanilla Barista Shot Sugar-Free Skinny Coffee Syrup, and the Salted Caramel Zero Calorie Sugar-Free Skinny Syrup.
Four years of healthy growth and 280 products later
Founded in 2018 by inspiring entrepreneurs Wayne Starkey and James Whiting in response to a need for great tasting, healthier alternative products, The Skinny Food Co® brand began with a line of healthy table sauces, inspired by diabetic family members and young children who were forced to avoid many flavourful, sugary foods.
The company has since seen continued, exponential growth to now sell over 280 healthier alternative products spanning the likes of sauces and syrups, spreads, low sugar snacks, flavoured coffees and Fake Away® ready meals – all of which are low in sugar yet delicious in taste.
