Tropical Vibes launches new ‘SOURS’ beverage range
Rapidly expanding UK beverage brand Tropical Vibes is set to build upon its success with the launch of its highly anticipated ‘SOURS’ range of juice drinks, inspired by tangy sweets like cherry gummies and fizzy cola bottles.
Following the success of its ‘Originals’ and ‘Lemonades’ ranges, Tropical Vibes is now venturing boldly into uncharted waters with three candy-inspired juice drinks aimed at the growing market of sour-confectionary-loving consumers who prefer their sweets with an added zing.
Inspired by popular sweets like cherry gummies and fizzy cola bottles, the new ‘SOURS’ range joins the brand’s portfolio of eight exotic fruit flavoured Originals and five American-style Lemonades.
Tropical Vibes’ iconic (and fully recyclable) 300ml glass bottles feature the brand’s boldest designs to date, drawing upon a brightly-coloured, psychedelic design style that’s guaranteed to stand out on the shelves.
The unique, candy-inspired flavours - Kawaii Kiwi, Crazy Cola and Cheeky Cherry – are likely to prove as popular with young consumers due to an unprecedented online buzz across social media.
A recent Instagram post from chart-topping Grime artist Ghetts – showing him enjoying the new Kawaii Kiwi flavour during a recording session – garnered enthusiastic responses from the likes of star boxer Anthony Yarde and food critic The Chicken Connoisseur.
75% YoY sales growth
Tropical Vibes was launched for the 2019 selling season and has achieved sales of more than £9 million in less than two years.
Still in its infancy, the brand is expected to reach £11 million in sales this year, thanks to 75-per-cent year-on-year growth. The firm said that such impressive growth has been driven to a large extent by the wholesale market, which has wholeheartedly embraced the brand thanks to attractive margins of up to 35 per cent and a consumer-friendly price point of just £1.
Distributed by Wanis International Foods, one of the UK’s leading World Food distributors, the beverage range is currently stocked by numerous major retailers including Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrison’s and Amazon.
The new ‘SOURS’ launch is supported by an extensive digital marketing campaign and creative placements in the likes of the world-famous HD Cutz barbershop in South London.
With strong sales growth and a growing, evangelical fan-base, the SOURS range looks set to become the must-have beverage of Summer 2021.
