Britvic announces new GB Marketing Director

Soft drinks giant Britvic has announced the appointment of Bruce Dallas to the role of GB Marketing Director at Britvic. The appointment follows the decision by Kevin McNair to step down from the role after three years at the firm.

Bruce Dallas has been with Britvic for two years as its GB Brand Director for Carbonates. ‘In this role, he and his team have delivered fantastic performance for PepsiCo in GB; strengthening the relationship between both businesses, taking market share and growing volume and revenue, as well as landing new owned-brand innovation into the market to drive growth in R Whites,’ said the company in a statement. Prior to joining Britvic, Bruce held various senior international marketing roles at Diageo, Unilever, and Robertson’s Foods.

“Bruce is a highly skilled and experienced marketer, and we are delighted to welcome him into this role,” enthused Matt Barwell, Britvic’s CMO. “His strategic end-to-end view of marketing has delivered fantastic results for the Pepsi portfolio and our owned brands R Whites and Tango over the last few years, and he has demonstrated real leadership and ownership of our values in the way he has led and worked with his team. Under his leadership, we will continue to drive forward our owned brand portfolio, deliver consumer-focused innovation and build a culture in which our marketers can thrive.”

Mr Barwell went on to express his gratitude to the out-going Kevin McNair for his contributions over the past three years to delivering the firm’s marketing programmes. “During his time at Britvic, Kevin led the delivery of a number of successful innovations into market, oversaw the delivery of some exciting new marketing campaigns and brought a greater focus to the consistent delivery of executional standards.”
