The UK’s favourite fast food restaurant has this week launched an irresistible gingerbread milkshake, just in time for the festive season.

Five Guys fans can pick up the ultimate festive treat, as the American-style diner introduces a seasonal spin on its much-loved milkshakes.

 

Available in all 97 Five Guys stores nationwide from Monday 21st October, diners will be able to pick up an indulgent gingerbread milkshake by adding real, premium gingerbread to the creamy, vanilla shake base, topped with lashings of whipped cream. 

 

To create a truly customised shake, customers can add one of 11 unique ingredients. These so-called ‘Next-level mix-ins’ include salted caramel, fresh strawberries, chocolate, real coffee and even Five Guys unique Applewood smoked bacon.

The brand-new gingerbread biscuit flavour is the first variation added to the Five Guys’ milkshake menu since launching in the UK in 2015. Since then, the Five Guys Shake has become a must-order item of the restaurant’s menu, selling over 3.6 million milkshakes in the last year alone – enough to fill almost 10 Olympic-sized swimming pools.

 

“Starting with a premium shake that was specially formulated for Five Guys, the creamy, dense texture is complimented with an authentic vanilla flavour. From there, diners are invited to mix and match any of the unique ingredients on offer, each selected, just like Five Guys’ burger toppings – for its quality,” said the firm in a statement.

 

Five Guys’ Gingerbread milkshake will be available in stores nationwide for a limited time only, subject to availability.
