Chu Lo launches Japanese-inspired sour soft drinks in time for summer
Leveraging upon on-trend sour flavours and expanding consumer interest in better-for-you, clean label beverages, challenger brand Chu Lo has launched a new range of premium soft drinks “crafted for those with a thirst for everything out of the ordinary”.
Currently available in four flavours – peach, apple, lemon and cherry – Chu Lo was created by Stephanie Buttery who spent over four months in Japan, creating the brand through a deep love of Japanese culture.
The beverage range is available to purchase via the brand’s webshop, as well as being sold at a variety of restaurants and stores, including YoSushi, Belong Gaming Arenas, and a number of independent retailers.
Four mouth-watering flavours
Whether it’s a family picnic in the park or a backyard BBQ with friends, Chu Lo is marketed as “the perfect soft drink accompaniment to put a spring in your step this summer” that is “inspired by an authentic taste of Japan”.
Chu Lo cans come in four mouth-watering flavours – Apple, Peach, Lemon and Cherry, the latter being the brand’s newest release. “This unique beverage combines punchy sour flavours with classic summery fruit juices to create the ultimate drink for summer,” said the firm in a statement. “Light, refreshing and totally tantalising.”
