Award-winning UK bakery Fatherson has created a new and improved Christmas offering. The new festive collection includes a range of high-quality mouth-watering mince pies from traditional flavours to exciting new flavours like port & cranberry. 

“We know from our consumer testing panel, as a nation we love those nostalgic, traditional Christmas favourites from mince pies to fruit and festive loaf cakes. But when it comes to mince pies, people also want something a little different, which creates both a taste twist and a surprise when eaten,” noted Laurence Smith, baker and owner of Fatherson Bakery. “That’s why this year our mince pie range has been borne out of a host of consumer taste tests – and a revision to our family pastry recipe is set to bring the very best Fatherson mince pies.”

The Fatherson Christmas offering includes:

 • (New): Six Traditional Mince Pies – Made with shortcrust pastry with a rich mincemeat filling and sprinkled with sweet snow icing sugar.

• (New): Four Luxury Mince Pies – Orange-flavoured shortcrust pastry with a brandy-soaked mincemeat filling.

• (New) Four Port & Cranberry Mince Pies – Orange-flavoured shortcrust pastry with a port and cranberry mincemeat filling.

• (New) Round Dundee Cake – A traditional Scottish fruit cake topped with an array of almonds.

• Large Festive Loaf – A rich fruit cake soaked with brandy and topped with flaked almonds.

• Small Festive Loaf – A small rich fruit cake soaked with brandy and topped with flaked. almonds

• 12-pack Traditional Mince Pies – The company’s signature shortcrust pastry, with a rich mincemeat filling, and sprinkled with sweet snow icing sugar.

• 12-pack Luxury Mince Pies – Orange-flavoured shortcrust pastry with a brandy-soaked mincemeat filling.

• Christmas Cupcake Platter – An assortment of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, topped with coloured icing and finished with gold sprinkles.

• Round Iced Christmas Cake – A traditional fruit cake, topped with white icing and a delicate gold spray.

The Fatherson Christmas range is available in-store across the UK – including grocery retailers, convenience stores, garden centres, farm shops and delis, plus hundreds of independent retailers. The range is packaged in eco-friendly packaging, which is 100-per-cent recycled and 100-per-cent recyclable.
