ProSweets Cologne 2021 offers new digital methods of establishing contacts and product presentation

With extended functions for exhibitors, visitors and media representatives, Matchmaking 365+ will enable continuous communications at the next ProSweets Cologne trade fair, which returns from 31st January to 3rd February 2021. 


In addition to the physical event held in the German city, ProSweets Cologne will next year also encompass a new online industry tool for registered exhibitors and trade visitors, as well as for media representatives, to enable networking with potential business partners. 


As a result, via ‘Matchmaking 365+’ exhibitors of the supplier trade fair for sweets and snacks will be able to also reach trade visitors in good time before the fair opens, beyond the dates of ProSweets Cologne’s physical exhibition (31st January to 3rd February 2021). 


Matchmaking 365+: towards a hybrid trade fair model


“With Matchmaking 365+ we are taking the next step towards hybrid trade fairs,” enthused Julia Kölsch, Director of ProSweets Cologne. “Especially in times like these, it is essential that we offer our customers extensive support and solutions that, in addition to the physical trade fair, provide a clear added value and additional options of establishing contacts, networking and an exchange.” 



In comparison to the former Matchmaking platform, the new version 365+ offers the exhibitors additional options regarding the product presentation. The users can present their products as photo and text information within the exhibitor showroom and increase the attention their company attracts by embedding video content. 


New products are especially highlighted here in order to present them to potential customers and media representatives in a targeted manner. In addition to contents, further company contacts are displayed in the exhibitor showroom, because user colleagues can be invited to join the platform. As such, the registered trade visitors are provided with specific points of contact at the companies according to their concrete needs. Contact proposals based on the stated interests of the participants support the process of finding and establishing new, interesting contacts. 


Enabling meetings via video, chat or audio


In addition to conventional forms of establishing contacts, the platform now also enables meetings per video, chat or audio. Due to functions like online appointment scheduling, the targeted product search or virtual meetings, the supplier trade fair for sweets and snacks enables an optimal preparation and follow-up of the trade fair visit. 



Beyond this, Matchmaking 365+ makes industry-related content in the form of industry knowledge, interviews or also the contents of the trade fair event programme available. In this way, both trade visitors and media representatives can inform themselves about the latest products and further industry contents of the companies prior to, during and after the trade fair. Access to the digital Matchmaking platform of ProSweets Cologne will be granted to registered trade visitors and media representatives free of charge.
