KETTLE Chips’ new, improved flavour is cheesier than ever

KETTLE® Chips, has launched its new and improved Mature Cheddar and Red Onion seasoning, featuring 12-month matured Davidstow® cheddar from Cornwall.

Phil Hovey, Innovation Chef at KETTLE®, created the new and improved flavour combination to ensure each chip features an even stronger taste of delicious creamy mature cheddar.

 

The renowned Davidstow® Creamery, which shares KETTLE® Chips’ passion for food provenance, has long-produced outstanding cheddar thanks to Cornwall’s unique landscape and climate. With its high levels of rainfall, producing rich pastures, Cornish cows graze outside for longer than do dairy cattle in other parts of the country.

 

“The rich velvety flavour profile of Davidstow® Cheddar complements the sharp, tangy yet sweet taste sensation of the red onion resulting in KETTLE® Chips’ best Mature Cheddar and Red Onion flavour yet,” said the snack manufacturer in a statement.

 

A proud supporter of local businesses, most of the potatoes used to produce KETTLE® Chips are grown within 30 miles of the KETTLE® cook-rooms in Norfolk, before being hand-cooked in small batches and seasoned with high quality, real food ingredients from ethical origins.

 

Suitable for vegetarians, and naturally gluten free, KETTLE® Chips Mature Cheddar and Red Onion is now available from Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose, RRP. £1.99.
