We are excited to announce that Fi Africa, as part of Africa Food Manufacturing and co-located with ProPak MENA, will launch in March 2020 – and registration for the show is now live.

Fi Africa is the newest addition to the Food ingredients Global portfolio – and combined with ProPak MENA, the event will offer food and beverage industry professionals a one-stop sourcing platform for the latest food and beverage ingredient solutions, along with packaging, processing and logistics innovations from Egypt, the North and Central Africa region, and around the world. 

 

The first edition of this new combination will take place from 15–17 March 2020 at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC) in Cairo, Egypt, attracting 200+ leading domestic and international suppliers and 6,000+ visitors from across the region. 

 

Alongside the exhibition, Fi Africa will host a high-level onsite conference designed to educate the sector about the various opportunities, challenges and trends in food manufacturing, with a regional focus. 

 

Egypt: Major hub for regional food exports

 

Egypt, the host country for Fi Africa, is projected to become one of the world’s top 10 leading economies by 2030. 

 

In just a few years, the country has undergone drastic economic transformation focused on restoring the competitiveness of its food ingredients market. Today, Egypt is quickly emerging as a key hub for regional food exports in North Africa, and is home to a thriving processed food industry that has been attracting investment from major multinationals, including Nestlé and Kraft, among others.
